Dress Code

Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club is a friendly and somewhat relaxed club that understands dress sense and standards vary according to each and every individual. As you would expect we like to see a high standard of dress on the course and in the Club-house. For men we suggest collared shirts (tucked in) with walk shorts and white socks,  or long trousers (not jeans or track pants, please).

The following outline provides an indicative understanding of the dress standard we consider desirable and acceptable.

  • Neat and tidy clothing is required to be worn on the course and in the clubhouse
  • Men's shirts must have collars (polo style sports shirts or similar) No T Shirts without collars
  • Women to wear smart casual tops or sports shirts that cover the shoulders
  • Work jeans, work shorts, brief shorts or beachwear are not acceptable
  • Offensive logos or other offensive wording on clothing is not acceptable
  • During the periods of daylight saving, boatshoes or dress sandals (men and women) may be worn without socks in the clubhouse.
  • Socks should be worn when playing on the course - low cut anklet or shorter crew length socks are acceptable, preferably white.
  • Footwear used on the course should not be worn in the clubhouse.
